Strike on Russian “Shadow Fleet” Tanker Near Yalta
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has released a video showing a Sea Baby naval drone striking a Russian “shadow fleet” tanker, Blue, near temporarily occupied Yalta within Ukraine’s exclusive economic zone. The strike occurred on the morning of July 8.
According to the SBU, the Sea Baby drone struck the vessel’s stern, causing significant damage to the tanker. Russian aircraft attempted to intercept the drone but were unsuccessful. This attack is part of a systematic effort to diminish Russia’s military-economic potential and reduce the Kremlin’s oil revenues.
