Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces Conduct Long-Range Strikes Against Russian Targets
Ukraine‘s Unmanned Systems Forces reported a series of long-range strikes against russian fuel infrastructure and military-related targets during the night of May 30, targeting assets deep inside russian-controlled territory. According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, Ukrainian drone operators engaged a total of 23 military targets and facilities in the enemy’s operational rear. The operation was coordinated by the newly established Deep Strike Center, which aims to synchronize attacks against high-value targets beyond the front line.
The strikes targeted various assets, including an oil tanker associated with russia‘s so-called shadow fleet, a network of vessels widely used to transport russian oil while circumventing international sanctions. The tanker was reportedly struck near Taganrog in russia’s Rostov region. Additionally, Ukrainian forces hit the Kurgannefteprodukt oil depot in the Taganrog area, which supports both military logistics and the broader russian energy sector.
Maritime Oil Terminal and Military Assets Under Attack
Another strike was reported against a maritime oil terminal in Feodosia, located in temporarily occupied Crimea. The attack was carried out by the Nemesis 412th Brigade, one of the units specializing in deep-strike drone operations. Furthermore, Ukrainian forces reportedly targeted the Iskander missile system and two Tu-142 long-range maritime patrol aircraft.
The statement highlighted the diversity of targets engaged during the operation.
