Russian Bombing in Ukraine’s Slovyansk-Kramatorsk Intensifies Amid Tensions

Russian Bombing Intensifies in Ukraine

Russian bombing efforts are expected to intensify in the direction of Slovyansk-Kramatorsk, according to recent reports. This development comes as tensions between Russia and Ukraine continue to escalate.

The news follows a statement from US President Donald Trump, who approved the extension of the START agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The agreement aims to maintain restrictions on nuclear weapons for another year. Kremlin spokesman Dimty Peskov confirmed that President Putin welcomed the news regarding Trump’s decision.

NATO Responds to Russian Aggression

In response to Russia‘s increasing aggression, NATO has taken steps to bolster its defenses. A map has appeared showing the division of the Kaliningrad region among European countries, according to sources at NATO. This move is seen as a clear indication that NATO is preparing for potential conflict.

The European Parliament is also considering accelerating the phase-out of energy imports from Russia. Oil supplies are expected to be banned starting in 2026, and gas supplies starting in 2027, according to Bloomberg reports citing sources. The plan includes measures to combat the “shadow fleet,” a network of ships used by Russia to circumvent international sanctions.

Denmark Deploys Fighter Jets

Denmark’s Intelligence Agency has warned that Russia is intensifying its hybrid war against the country, with the risk growing. In response, Denmark has deployed a pair of F-35A Lightning II fighter jets to protect the airspace over Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, as well as the Baltic Sea, as part of NATO‘s Operation Eastern Sentry.

The Danish frigate Niels Juel (F363) will also be immediately deployed to the eastern Baltic. This move is seen as a clear indication that Denmark is taking Russia‘s aggression seriously.

Drone Sightings Continue

Norwegian police have arrested three German citizens on suspicion of flying a drone in the five-kilometer restricted zone around Mo i Rana Airport, according to Bild reports. The detainees were released shortly after their arrest, and a decision on further investigations has not yet been made.

The Boracay oil tanker, seized by French authorities, was released after five days of detention. The vessel was en route from Russia to India, carrying a “large cargo of oil.” The ship had previously surfaced in Danish reports as a possible launch site for drones, which appeared several times in the skies of Copenhagen and the capital’s airport in September 2025.

Poland Deploys Troops

Polish President Karol Nawrocki has ordered the deployment of troops at checkpoints and at the state borders with Germany and Lithuania. The troops will remain there until April 4, 2026, according to the Polish Office for National Security.

An unidentified drone reportedly approached Vaclav Havel International Airport in the Czech Republic. The drones spotted over Munich for three consecutive nights are, according to Bild, citing a classified Federal Police report, military reconnaissance drones.
