Ukraine’s Forces Strike Oil Terminal, Naval Vessels in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai

Units of Ukraine‘s Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of key Russian military targets on May 23 and during the night of May 24, 2026. According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

The strikes targeted an oil-loading pier at the Tamannaftogaz oil terminal in the settlement of Volna, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Preliminary reports indicate that an oil-loading gantry was damaged. The Tamannaftogaz terminal is one of Russia’s key oil export facilities in the Black Sea region, with a capacity to transship up to 20 million tons of oil and petroleum products annually.

Russian Military Targets Hit

In addition to the oil terminal, Ukraine‘s Defense Forces struck several other Russian military targets. A munitions storage facility in Mizhhiria in temporarily occupied Crimea was hit, along with a logistics depot, an ammunition warehouse, and a fuel and lubricants depot of the Russian Armed Forces near the temporarily occupied settlement of Bilolutsk in the Luhansk region.

Furthermore, Ukraine‘s Defense Forces struck Russian UAV command posts near Borisovka in Russia‘s Belgorod region, Voskresenka in the Donetsk region, and Tyotkino in Russia’s Kursk region. A concentration of enemy personnel near Volfinske in Russia’s Kursk region was also hit.

Naval Targets Struck

On May 23, a patrol ship, the Pytlivy, and a missile hovercraft were struck at the Novorossiysk naval base in Russia‘s Krasnodar Krai. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
